A New Game Announced based on Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures animated series.

Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures

Pac-Man is working his way back into the gaming world, and into your living room, in ways you would never expect of this classic arcade hero. For those unfamiliar, Disney XD has been airing its new Pac-Man cartoon, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, since June 15th. The show has quickly become a viewer favorite. Executive-produced by Marvel co-founder Avi Arad, the animated series has its own original take on the Pac-Man universe, bringing a fresh experience to viewers. With the addition of new companions and a new enemy,  Pac-Man has reached another level of entertainment that warrants expansion to additional platforms and media. Following the interest from this hit show, a new game has been announced to release in October 2013, adapting the television series faithfully to the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS.

A primarily single player game, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures will focus on its engaging story, starring our pellet gobbling star.  Speaking of pellets, expect a whole new array of power-ups in this nostalgic title that will give Pac-Man the extra strength he needs to gobble up ghosts and conquer his enemies. Fans of the show can now take control of their favorite character with this modern take on an arcade classic.

GamerFitNation’s Antwand ‘Blackbible’ Pearman had the chance to talk with Mike Chang, Brand Manager at Namco Bandai, about the release.
