Crysis developer Crytek has unveiled their new 4-player co-op game titled “Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age” and provided a chilling release trailer along with it.

Hunt is being described by Crytek as: “a spine-chilling new multiplayer experience on PC and consoles.” You can have up to four players going at it in third person all with the common goal of trying to take down the relentless creatures that get in your way.

You can find the release trailer for Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age right here:

Hunt is set in the late 1800s and brings you to a world where evil, dark myths and legends exist about you. You will play as a hunter who is brave enough to venture out and try to stop the oncoming threat of these creatures that plague the land. By the looks of it each of the 4 playable characters have their own distinct personalities and abilities that will be useful when dealing with the hoards of the undead.

Hunt has a closed beta that will kick off for PC later this year, in order to apply for this beta check out the game’s website. This is the second game that Crytek has announced in the past few weeks as they recently announced Arena of Fate.

While we don’t know much about Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age right now other than what Crytek has told us as with most games being talked about now expect to hear more about this, and other games, at E3 2014.
