5 Gaming Music Tracks That Are Blast from The Past

Well guys and girls, here I am again with another article and this one is a great one if I say so myself, but I’ll let you decide. Today’s topic will be 5 great gaming tracks from the past. There will some games that you know from your past and others, that will take you back to your childhood. While creating this article I thought 5 would be a good number, but boy was I wrong. I ended up adding a sixth one just because it was too awesome to pass up.

Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals: Lufia is an RPG developed by neverland that was published by Natsume in 1996. You play the game a young monster hunter named Maxim. This game was one my favorite games and it feature some the best boss music that I have ever heard until this day. I still own the game for my Super Nintendo and I have to say that I am glad I do. The story-line is very old school and the gameplay is what you can expect from a traditional turn-based RPG. The most epic music comes when your fighting the main bosses in the game called the Sinistrals. These harbingers of evil are trying to destroy your world and you must fight them, all the while this is playing the background. Cue that beautiful bean music!

Pokémon Red & Blue - Gym Leader Battle Music: I know there is one person out there that will disagree with me on this. I won’t be naming any names because, he might take offense. I have to say though, that Pokemon Red and Blue version has one of the best songs that I have ever heard when you fought boss. The classic Gameboy music is awesome and fun. It always got me into the game and made me energetic as I was kicking Brock’s butt with Charmander. That’s right guys I’m hardcore! This song has got to take you back! :-)

Final Fantasy 7 Jenova Theme: We all know Sephiroth’s Mother as he likes to call it or her, man whatever this boss music is awesome. Every time I hear it in the game I get shivers that go through my spine. I can vividly remember how my battles went as I casted Comet materia or uses bolt2 for a powerful attack.  This game music has energy and I can’t talk about it anymore, now listen! :-)

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle - Crush 40 - Final Boss Battle Theme - Live and Learn: Sonic Adventure 2 was a great Gamecube and Dreamcast game. Many people call this the last great Sonic game that was released from Sega. We have Sonic Generations coming soon, but no one can deny the awesome sauce that was this musical score. This song was heard during a (spoiler alert) epic space battle as Shadow and Sonic fought the finalhazard in their Super Sonic and Super Shadow form. This was culmination of a great adventure game.

Megaman x5 Boss Music Theme: Megaman X has to be one of my favorite series of all time for Super Nintendo and the PlayStation 1. Sigma just wouldn’t die would he?! This game featured great music when you made it to the mavericks and this next video highlights just that. Now enjoy some great MegaMan X music.

Extra Track: Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers - Boss Theme: In the 90′s we were given a game based on 5 teenagers with attitude. That game was Mighty Morphin Power Rangers for the Super Nintendo. This was an epic game, that also had an epic soundtrack. This game made you feel like a kid, which I was at the time. Now when I hear the music it takes me back to my younger years. How I miss these days. :-(

I know I said 5, but I just had to add the sixth one in there because it was just that Epic that it had to be added.  I am so jamming to these when I workout later today.
