by on August 3, 2015

Since we’ve already presented you with the best Nintendo exclusive titles out this year so far, we figured we would throw some of the most anticipated Nintendo exclusive games that are still coming this year. Some of these games have had some hype for months, while others came completely out of the blue to take the gaming world by storm. Either way, these titles have some power behind them and will make incredible additions to anyone’s wish list.

Nintendo Exclusive: Super Mario Maker

How intense will you make your levels?

How intense will you make your levels?

Coming out on the 11th of September this year is a Wii U title that will give players the ability to design their own Mario levels. These levels can be crafted with items and graphics throughout various Mario eras. This Nintendo exclusive was created in order to honor the 30th anniversary of the Mario franchise. Not only will you be able to design your own levels to be as complex as you’d like, but you can also put your levels online for others to play. Naturally, you will be able to play the levels that others have created as well.

Nintendo Exclusive: Legend of Zelda Triforce Heroes

Announced at E3 this year, this Nintendo exclusive title is set to debut on the 3DS sometime during the third quarter this year. That’s a pretty speedy release for a game that just surfaced in the news. This little game is already showing plenty of promise, allowing you to tackle dungeons alone or with friends. You will get to take control of different colored Links, each with his own unique abilities. Adding onto the fun is the customization aspect in which you can collect quirky costume pieces and make Link wear them while adventuring. Hearts will be shared amongst you and your teammates, so troll like moves that run rampant in Mario games may not be recommended with Triforce Heroes.

Nintendo Exclusive: Xenoblade Chronicles X

Take part in an adventure of epic proportions in a gorgeous open world.

The world that many fell in love with while traveling alongside Shulk is coming back for its next installment later this year on the Wii U. The release date is currently supposed to be on December 4th this year. This Nintendo exclusive will see players traveling through a war torn open world, both on foot and in giant mechs. Take on massive monsters as a character that you customize yourself, all the way from your gender to the tattoos you wear. Xenoblade Chronicles X promises to take everything it had going for it in the previous installment and greatly improve and enhance upon those points. We, and many others, cannot wait to see what is waiting for us in this upcoming title.

Nintendo Exclusives: Yo-Kai Watch

Jump in to the magical world of the Yo-Kai.

Level-5 does it again in this quirky title coming to the Nintendo 3DS. This game franchise has made a huge impression on Japanese audiences, and now it is time for American audiences to experience the same. Yo-Kai Watch places you in control of a young boy who receives a special watch that allows you to see mysterious beings known as Yo-Kai. These beings come in many shapes and sizes, heavily influencing human life without people realizing it. This game rivals Pokemon in Japan due to the fact that you can make friends with Yo-Kai and use them to fight off other mischievous Yo-Kai to bring calmness back to where they were acting up. There is no official release date set, but Yo-Kai Watch is currently supposed to come out later this year.

Nintendo Exclusive: Yoshi’s Woolly World

Amiibo collectors and Yoshi fans alike are going to go nuts when more pre-orders for this Nintendo exclusive break into the market. Yoshi’s Woolly World is a game featuring a Yoshi doll made of yarn. Much like Kirby’s Epic Yarn, this title has you guiding Yoshi through colorful levels that utilize yarn and the things that can be created with it. To go with this adorable and innovative title is a Yarn Yoshi Amiibo. This cute little guy is a full, yarn worked Amiibo that comes in green, blue, and pink. You can expect to see this title out on store shelves for the Wii U on October 16th this year. Be sure to keep an eye out on local stores and online if you want a Yarn Yoshi Amiibo; no one knows if there will be a shortage of them like there is with many other Amiibo figures.

Nintendo Exclusive: Final Words

Most of the games on this list have undetermined release dates. While they currently are supposed to be released this year, there is always a chance for something to come up and push the release back to 2016. Hopefully, that will not happen to any of the wonderful titles on this list. What upcoming games are you excited for?
