Todd McFarlane Says “Yes” to Spawn’s Inclusion in Mortal Kombat X

by on February 17, 2015

Mortal Kombat X Spawn Is Coming…

Yes, Todd Mcfarlane, in an interview with GamerFitnation.com’s Tamika Moultrie, said that he has already said “yes” to the Mortal Kombat X Spawn inclusion. The catch is that there’s a window of time they will have to use him before he is pulled off the table. Still, we believe it’s safe to say that Mortal Kombat X Spawn will likely happen. If you need more confirmation, watch our interview with Todd Mcfarlane. In the past, we’ve mentioned the possibility of Spawn being used in Injustice: Gods Among Us, as well as the planned Injustice: Gods Among Us 2. From what we’ve gathered from Mcfarlane, it seems less likely.

McFarlane also spoke to us about what’s new with McFarlane Toys. New items include The Walking Dead, WWE and more. He showed off his Walking Dead miniatures playset which features a replica of the infamous prison from the series. His WWE line included legends Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin. McFarlane also showcased Assassins Creed Unity figures. McFarlane also gave more details about the upcoming Spawn movie.

I guess the next question is which version of Spawn are we likely to see as well as when will he be announced if he’s utilized at all? I’m personally excited to hear this news. The question is, are you gamers out there excited that Mortal Kombat X Spawn could be happening? Mortal Kombat X will be available in stores April 14, 2015. Hopefully we’ll hear more news in regards to NetherRealm Studios’ possible Mortal Kombat X Spawn raising hell.

but Spunk was already in Soul Calibur 2:/

Jason X is the best person to be in.

but meh..i really don’t care who they add. As long as it’s not irrelevant like Soul Calibur 4:/

We’ll he already told them yes and gave them a time limit so it’s up to NetherRealm Studios now.

Right. They have the licensing but they need to act on it. This only shows that they have the freedom to include him IF they choose to.

Its a petition to get the late, great Oderus Urungus from Gwar in Mortal Kombat X

On principle, I simply do not like guest characters. Don’t need them, don’t want them…I prefer the roster just be devoted to the original creations and visions of the design team.

That said…Spawn? eh…I don’t hate it. And from me that’s a huge statement…I don’t hate it. Given all the characters with all their powers and abilities, he fits in rather well.

So IF he’s in (this news confirms NOTHING other than Spawn being licensed for use in Warner Bros. properties), it’s not so bad.
